Brogue State

On my way to work this morning, I walked behind a girl wearing the most perfect black lace-up oxfords I had ever seen, and I'm kicking myself for not asking where she got them. I spent the rest of the day at after work shopping for the perfect black brogues, and got wrapped up in dozens of adorable styles.

I'm kind of all about that boyish-with-a-touch-of-daintiness look. I love mixing oxfords with a blazer and a flowy tank, ankle jeans and a cozy sweater, or a skirt and striped top to change it up. A no-nonsense flat really grounds any outfit you pair it with.
