Autumn Adventure

I felt like I stomped into a fairytale visiting Sweetland Orchard over the weekend. Stomping because of the boots, a fairytale because the apple orchard was about the most charming place I had ever seen. My sister, her husband and I made a day of it and came home with a gallon of cider and a half-peck of apples (the cider doughnuts were finished before we even made it back to the car). It was a beautiful autumn weekend. It truly bums me out that autumn is the shortest season, because it's my favorite by far.
