Blank Check, Please

It's pretty common knowledge that I have expensive taste, but most of the time, my splurges remain on the blog. My closet is a pretty good mix of low-end (H&M, Forever 21) and mid-range (Gap, J.Crew) pieces, which is the reason I tend to go a little crazy on the blog. That's what a balanced budget is, right? I'm usually one to avoid wearing a blue top with blue jeans, but the graphic heart elbow patches on this cardigan and striking black and white blouse break up the continuous color. Paired with a couple glitzy bracelets and my favorite moccasins, this look is definitely my inspiration for this workweek's casual Friday. (Which is the day my mother is flying in from Seattle to visit! Yay! Hi, Mom!)

And P.S...this whole look costs less than 1/8th of the bag on its own. See, I do know how to balance a budget.
