As Gold As It Gets

I didn't really appreciate gold jewelry until a year or two ago. I considered silver to be "easier to match" and it seemed to fit more with my downtown-bohemian style throughout high school. But now, I find myself reaching for yellow-toned jewels and hardware more than anything else.

Michael Kors Bradshaw watch, Issa dress, Bauble Bar necklace, ASOS clutch ($36!), Topshop loafers

Gold is timeless and classic, something everyone else knew before I finally caught on. I love the way it dresses up my day to day outfits for work. Neutral colors are my favorite thing to wear, so piles of gold jewelry plus coordinating hardware work to pull the look together.

I'm not a stickler for having metals match, but between the gold handbag emblem, cap toe, and jewelry, all-gold  is about as striking as it gets in a color-less look.
