Shadow Days

I always thought full sun was perfect for taking photos, but since I've started blogging I've learned that indirect sunlight is prime. So here I am in the yard, prancing around in the shadows, pretending like everyone else in the neighborhood is documenting their outfits as well. Because it's totally normal.

This fancy pleated top was so much fun to wear--like a skirt for my top, bahaha. I paired it with simple jeans and some snazzy sandals. In my rush to get to work, I forgot accessories (happens to the best of us, right?), but a quick stop at Macy's resulted in this pretty necklace that I can already tell will get plenty of wear.
