America is a great place. We get to celebrate things like July 4th and use it as an excuse to buy new clothes. Or maybe that's just me.

July 4th is also a good excuse for Starbucks to give away free coffee, which made my morning plans a no-brainer.

And because of my incessant sweet tooth, I had to stop at my favorite bakery after work yesterday and pick up a holiday treat. As if I need an excuse to buy a cupcake.
