I can’t believe it’s been a full year since these photos were shot—how time flies! Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to attend POW! WOW! Hawaii this year, but you can bet I followed all the fun very closely on their social media. Spending ten days in the Kaka’ako neighborhood in Honolulu, waking up early every morning and spending late nights with the same people really makes POW! WOW! feel like camp—a really cool, community-oriented, exciting and inspiring island art camp.

To relieve some of my FOMO, I found these outfit snapshots I never got around to sharing last February. It’s always such a blast to partner with Vans Girls during this incredible street art festival—their summer style hits the perfect mark between my simple yet edgy everyday style and laidback, Hawaiian inspiration. They’re always one of the first brands I hit when I head for warm weather. And truth be told, this is exactly the time of year that I start looking to fly somewhere sunny.
