I don't like to show much skin, but sometimes it's inevitable. For example, I'm in Washington D.C. right now in about 102 degree heat with 85% humidity, and a little silky romper is almost too many clothes. However, when it's doable, I prefer pairing tank tops with long pants or long sleeves with shorts, as shown here, for just the right balance. Almost all of these pieces are available at Nordstrom, along with thousands of other items that are now on sale for the big Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. My mom used to buy me tights every year during the Anniversary Sale when I was a little girl, and I've been shopping it myself ever since I got my first job.

Below, I've narrowed down some of my favorite pieces on sale until August 6, but I can tell you from experience that everything gets snapped up right away...so if you're looking for some new pieces to round out your summer, pre-fall, and fall wardrobe, don't wait.
