NYC Street Art March 2017
Change happens so quickly in the world of street art and graffiti that I'm sorry I didn't get this post up sooner—but I'd reckon most of the larger works I'm sharing below are still in good shape, especially commissioned works like the Ouizi #MuralOnMott and the jgoldcrown wall for Rag & Bone. Big cities are a hub for the best of the best when it comes to street art, so I'm excited to share some iconic works by some of the medium's greatest creators.
One of the cool things about street art is that a piece doesn't have to be two stories tall to be striking. Strolling down Houston Street, I stumbled upon this adorable 2:12 portrait that is one of my favorite street art spottings to date. She's like a modern day Mona Lisa.
Over the last year, I've loved learning more about street art and the people who create it. It was so much fun to see the work of so many different artists in one of the greatest cities in the world. I have more street art posts coming from more cities I've visited this year including lots in Europe, so keep an eye out!
