Jewelry for Life

Day to day life as a blogger is anything but routine. Although I work every day, Monday may mean spending all day at a coffee shop shooting emails back and forth with brands. Tuesday, I may be headed downtown for a meeting with a marketing agency, or meeting another blogger for coffee for some good old-fashioned industry talk. Wednesday, I might be running around town with my photographer changing clothes in the back of her car. Thursday, I may draft some new blog post ideas or send out pitch emails, or even work on planning out my next trip. Friday comes and it’s another meeting or another photoshoot or another few hours of emails. Whew.
Even if I’m wearing a silk jumpsuit for Monday meetings or jeans for my Friday shoot, it’s important to make sure my jewelry works for everything on any given day—that’s the one thing I don’t want to worry about changing, especially since I’m notorious for misplacing jewelry as soon as I take it off. When I find something that works, I don’t take it off for years, which means it’s crucial for me to seek out exceptional quality and beautiful metals to ensure my favorite pieces will withstand the test of time. This stunning gold necklace from Ben Bridge Jeweler both catches the eye and blends into a look without overpowering it, which is just what I like my jewelry to do for me. Although it’s a 14k gold luxury item, its simple yet playful design and accessible price make it an easy go-to item for young women in a similar position to mine—I don’t spend an obscene amount of money on jewelry or clothes, but I’m willing to invest when I find an item that I know I’ll continue wearing for years to come.
As much as I like to look put together, I never take my outfits too seriously. For example, in this look, a sleek loafer and suede bag with gold hardware add a touch of class to a fun pair of overalls and bright, sassy band tee—that perfect combination of fun and sophistication. No matter what I decide to wear, Ben Bridge Jeweler's exceptional quality and beautiful metals ensure my favorite pieces will withstand the test of time.
