My time in Cheyenne, Wyoming was short but sweet. I got to catch up with extended family I haven't seen in awhile and dig through some of my great-grandmother's old jewelry, which always feels like something of a treasure hunt. We were in town for Frontier Days, the town's gigantic heritage festival celebrating its western roots. Western culture and the cowboy/rancher lifestyle absolutely fascinates me, so sitting for an hour on the side of the road watching horse after horse and carriage after carriage go by in the parade was nothing but a good time for me. I'll have more photos from the parade and exploring the city hitting the blog this week, but in the meantime, this is the look I chose for parade day.
